Determining shipping and handling fees for one-of-a-kind original works of art is quite a bit more complicated than most other types of sales.

You are purchasing an original work that has often taken me weeks or even months to complete. Besides taking into account the cost of packing materials and the time involved in the actual packing, as well as the fees charged by the carrier, there is a significant amount required to obtain adequate insurance.

For those who are local or visiting the Charleston area, another option is to come by my studio in the Public Works Art Center at 135 West Richardson, Summerville, SC 29483 and save the extra cost of having your new painting shipped.
