Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, Sue Lowcavage can scarcely recall a time when she wasn’t drawing something. Some of her earliest memories are of trying to reproduce pictures from favorite books, like Black Beauty or 1001 Arabian Nights, gifts from a grandmother who recognized her talents even then.

Since relocating to South Carolina, she has established herself as a much-in-demand artist with her stunningly realistic oil and watercolor paintings of scenes from the Lowcountry, images captured from travels around the world and lifelike portraits of those fortunate to have crossed her path.

Another great piece! Makes me want to walk right into the picture.
